The first and highest capacity Wire Mesh Factory with was established in Manisa Organized Industry Zone in 1972. Operated by different companies until 2001, the facility was acquired by BMS Group after 3 years, in September 2004.

Restarted its operations with new and modern machine additions after radical modernization works, BMS ÇELİK HASIR SAN. VE TİC. A.Ş. is still the most modern and highest-capacity wire mesh factory of Turkey. With latest machinery additions and extended closed areas, the annual capacity has reached to an annual capacity of 120.000 tons/year and cold drawn bar of 120.000 tons/year.

BMS ÇELİK HASIR SAN. VE TİC. A.Ş. carries out its operations on a total of 12.000 m² area - 7000 m² closed and 5000 m² open - and manufactures in accordance with primarily Turkish standards and world recognized standards such as ASTM, DIN an BSI. 

Quality controls of produced wire meshes and cold extruded bars are continuously performed at company labs and also tested by test labs of universities periodically. Modern technology product wire mesh enables 35 to 40% saving from time, labor and consumption, depending on the application area. BMS ÇELİK HASIR SAN. VE TİC. A.Ş. has a TSE (Turkish Standards Institute) certificate and besides the standard sizes (2150 x 5000), is able to manufacture customized products in special sizes according to the project or need.

Other than wire mesh, the Company also manufactures flat and ribbed steel bars or coils in ST IVB quality from Ø 4 mm to Ø 12 mm (between 1 m and 12 m). BMS ÇELİK HASIR SAN. VE TİC. A.Ş., with its solid position in Turkey, realizes 30% of wire mesh export of Turkey. Some of the countries the products are exported to are US - Greece - TRNC - Libya - Irq - Nigeria - North Yemen - Germany - Russia - Jameica - Syria - Albania - Israel - Croatia  and Africa.
